Safety support and resources for families

This page collects the safety resources parents and caregivers ask for most. We keep it short on purpose — the essentials, clearly organised, so you can find what you need and get on with your day.

Where to go for what

  • Activity-specific questions — start with your Group Leader. They plan the activity and know its arrangements best.
  • Child-safe policies and the Code of Conduct — published by Scouts Queensland and available through official channels.
  • Raising a concern — see our reporting page, which walks you through who to talk to.
  • Uniform, badges and general program questions — browse our Parents section or contact us directly.

Resources worth knowing about

  • The Scouts Queensland child safe framework, including zero tolerance for harm.
  • National program safety standards that govern adventurous activities.
  • The National Redress Scheme, which Scouts Australia acknowledges and supports as part of our commitment to addressing past institutional harm.
