Diversity and Inclusion

Scouting should be a place where young people and families feel welcome, respected, and able to participate. Moreton Region Scouts wants families to know that inclusion is part of how we build community, not an extra add-on.

Young people come with different backgrounds, strengths, experiences, and support needs. A healthy Scouting culture makes room for those differences and works to create a sense of belonging.

Families should feel comfortable talking with leaders about support needs, access considerations, or anything that could help a young person participate more fully. Honest conversations early on can make the experience smoother for everyone.
