Create the path. Cub Scouts is where children stop waiting for the world to happen and start stepping into it. They try more, do more and discover just how capable they are.
This is a great age for adventure with purpose. Your child is growing in confidence, building friendships and learning that effort, teamwork and curiosity can take them a long way.
More challenge, more growth
Cub Scouts gives children room to stretch. They tackle new experiences, solve problems, work in teams and begin to take more responsibility for themselves and others.
What your child will do
- Take part in outdoor activities, camps and practical challenges.
- Learn skills they can use in Scouting and everyday life.
- Work as a team, lead in small ways and build resilience.
- Follow their interests and discover new strengths.
What your child gains
Cub Scouts helps children become more capable, independent and confident. They learn that they can try hard things, recover when things do not go to plan, and keep moving forward.
What you can expect
Your child will be encouraged, challenged and supported. We keep the program active and varied so they stay engaged, keep learning and look forward to what comes next.
Take the next step
If your child is ready to grow through adventure, we can help you find a Cub Scout Pack near you.
