Scouting is better together

This page is your gateway to events across Moreton Region Scouts. Some of the best Scouting memories happen when Groups come together — the friendships, the friendly competition, the camp food stories nobody believes.

Three levels of events

• Region events — camps, activity days and competitions run for Groups across our region.
• Branch and state events — Queensland-wide gatherings run by Scouts Queensland.
• Major events — the big ones: Australian Jamboree (AJ2028), Cuboree, Venture and international connections like JOTA-JOTI.

Why events matter

• Perspective. Young people discover Scouting is much bigger than their own hall.
• Skills. Events stretch members just past their comfort zone, with support close by.
• Volunteer connection. Adults meet peers from other Groups and swap ideas that transform their own programs.

Planning ahead

Event details and dates are published through your Group and on this site as they’re confirmed. Ask your Leader what’s coming up next — there’s usually something worth circling on the calendar.
