Events across Moreton Region

This page covers the camps, activity days and competitions our region runs each year. Region events are where local Groups meet, mix and discover how much Scouting happens beyond their own meeting night.

The kinds of things we run

• Region camps and activity days — often based at Allawah Scout Camp or BP Park, using sites we’re lucky to call our own.
• Section-based gatherings — age-appropriate challenges for Joeys right through to Venturers.
• Skill competitions — camping, pioneering and first aid events where units test their teamwork.
• Ceremonies and celebrations — region-level occasions marking milestones in Scouting life.
• Service activities — hands-on projects giving back to local communities.

Making the most of them

• Book early. Popular events fill quickly; your Group will circulate details as they’re announced.
• Bring a friend. Many members first joined after tagging along to a region event.
• Volunteer a little. An hour on a gate or a stove makes events possible — and it’s more fun than watching.
