The philosophy behind it all
We believe young people grow through real challenge — but challenge must be matched with competence and care. That’s why activities run under national standards, with trained leaders, proper equipment and plans someone other than the participants knows about.
If you’re a volunteer wondering whether you’re “qualified enough” to get started: you don’t have to be an expert on day one. This section shows you the pathway, one step at a time.
