This page is where families begin joining Moreton Region Scouts. If you’ve got a young person aged 5 or older who’d love adventure, friends and skills for life — welcome. You’re one form away from getting started.
What we’ll ask you
- The young person’s age — so we can point you to the right section: Joeys (5–7), Cubs (8–11), Scouts (11–14) or Venturers (14–18).
- Your suburb — so your enquiry goes straight to the nearest welcoming Group.
- Your contact details — a real person will use them to reply.
- Anything we should know — interests, accessibility needs, questions. All helpful, none compulsory.
What happens next
- We pass your details to your local Group’s leaders.
- You’ll be invited along to try a meeting night — no cost, no pressure, no uniform needed yet.
- If everyone’s smiling at the end of the night, we’ll walk you through registration and the first few weeks.
Good to know before you send
Most Groups can welcome new members quickly, but popular ones sometimes have short waits in particular sections. Enquiring early never hurts. And if you have more than one young person wanting to join, mention them all — sibling nights are common.
