Everything for your learning journey
This page pulls together the training resources volunteers use most, so you can find the next step in your development without digging around.
Core platforms
- On-Demand eLearning (training.scouts.com.au) – self-paced modules for child safe induction, role basics and ongoing development, delivered through the Scouts Australia Institute of Training (SAIT).
- Wood Badge training – the recognised adult leader pathway, combining eLearning, practical weekends and mentored projects in your own role.
- First aid and qualifications – externally delivered courses supported through Scouts Queensland.
Learning beyond courses
- Mentoring – every trainee Leader has an experienced mentor; every mentor was once new.
- Region workshops – short, practical sessions run by Moreton Region volunteers through the year.
- Program Resources site (pr.scouts.com.au) – deep guidance on the youth program behind much of our training content.
Fitting it around life
We know your time is precious. Most modules take under an hour, and there is no shame in spreading Wood Badge over a couple of years – many do. Consistency beats bursts.
Try this: book one training item into your calendar this month, however small. Learning momentum is built, not found.
