Child safety is everyone’s job
This section helps every adult in Moreton Region Scouts understand their child-safe responsibilities. Whether you’re a new parent helper or a seasoned Leader, the expectations are the same at heart: young people come first, always.
Start here
- Child Safe overview — the framework behind our zero-tolerance approach.
- Code of Conduct — the behavioural standards every adult agrees to.
- Reporting concerns — what to do, and who to tell, when something worries you.
- Training and checks — Blue Cards, training modules and renewals.
- Support and resources — where to find policies, help and further learning.
Why this matters
We know most volunteers give their time out of genuine care. These pages aren’t about distrusting anyone — they’re about protecting young people and protecting you, by making sure everyone knows the standards and follows them together.
