Scouts | Terrain is the digital platform our youth members use to record their journey through the Achievement Pathways. Find it at terrain.scouts.com.au.
What it is
Terrain lets each young person track badges earned, log Outdoor Adventure Skills stages, record Special Interest Area projects, and see their progress towards peak awards. It grows with them from Joey Scouts through to Rovers.
Who it helps
- Youth members — they own their record and can see how far they’ve come.
- Leaders — approve milestones and keep an eye on each member’s progress.
- Parents and carers — follow along as achievements are logged.
How to start
- Members log in with the details provided when they join.
- Explore your profile and current badge progress.
- Add a new Special Interest Area project or OAS stage when you’re ready.
Try this
If you’re a leader, set aside five minutes at your next meeting to ask each member to show one thing they’ve logged in Terrain lately. It builds pride — and it keeps records current without extra admin for you.
